Review of Insignificance (1985) by Tara H — 05 Aug 2008
This is one of my favourite movies. Five modern archetypes, loosely based on Monroe, DiMaggio, McCarthy and Einstein, meet one summer night in a New York hotel room. All the cast is great in this funny, if unsettling fantasy.
Even though none of it is real, it touches on some profound truths about life, society and the individuals held up as symbols of how we should be.
