Review of Insignificance (1985) by Anna B — 15 Jun 2013
An interesting idea for sure, where the four main characters are never named personally, but look and act a lot like Albert Einstein, Marilyn Monroe, Joe DiMaggio and Senator Joseph MacCarthy.
I thought the idea worked for awhile, but since it is based on a play it boils down to a lot of talking and it just got old for me after awhile.
The acting is all great and everyone seems to look the part. I really liked Russell as Monroe, as she was sexy and hard to keep your eyes off of, just like Monroe was.
They also put in all these little things to remind you this is an ART movie, which do more to annoy than anything.
