Review of Insidious (2011) by Azathoth — 26 Jul 2011
I saw this in theaters and thought it was amazing. The story is original and their are some terrifying scenes. Recently though, I saw it on DVD and I have to say it's not that great. The story is great.
It's original, but there are some major flaws. I couldn't understand the father's actions in the second act. The third act was probably the worst part. I liked the beginning of his trip to find his son, but he was asking to be caught by the ghosts.
It didn't make any sense. I'd love to read the screenplay because I believe that it may have been better on paper.
