Review of Insidious (2011) by Paul Sean C — 28 Dec 2013
James Wan directs his first haunted house movie (that I know of) very well, with plenty of creepy moments, actually scary images and a general spooky undertone. Insidious is very similar to Poltergeist in my opinion, bordering on a remake, but Poltergeist isn't a bad movie to get ideas from, and this movie has just enough original ideas to let it slide.
