Review of Insidious (2011) by Gabriel I — 17 Oct 2015
This movie was not at all what I expected. This is another time that I am going to have to disagree with the masses as everyone seems to love this movie. While watching the trailers I thought that this would be an amazing jump out of your seat scary movie, but it left me unmoved.
I didn't like the characters so their survival was irrelevant and the haunted house was ridiculous - not unnerving or suspenseful in the least. Then the crazy demon-seeing lady arrives and things just go from bad to worse.
The obvious set up for a sequel only makes it more ridiculous in my opinion. I can't wait to miss the sequel.
