Review of Inside Out (2015) by Dmitri M — 30 Mar 2016
Top Movies of 2015 - #3.
Pixar hasn't been on the top of their game for quite a while. Monsters University was a great movie, but not the top tier stuff we expected from the company that gave us Toy Story 3. Luckily, they returned to form this year with Inside Out, perhaps the best animated movie I've seen in years (and this is coming from the guy who had Frozen as his #1 in 2013). Inside Out will make you smile, it will make you laugh, it will make you cry, but most importantly it will remain in your memory for years to come. Its a humanization of growing up and maturity, which is something I believe everyone can relate to. Its definitely a movie to experience firsthand.
