Review of Inside Out (2015) by Scott A — 15 Feb 2017
I want to start out by saying that I typically LOVE Pixar and Disney and anything warm heartfelt and interesting. So I would have considered myself the target audience for this movie, but this wasn't what I'd thought It'd be.
Inside Out was just too boring! It wasn't emotional. At one point I literally said "WTF is wrong with her?!" about Sadness because she's a lazy twat. Joy was too over the top and bossy.
Bing Bong's story wasn't sad or emotional or anything, just an imaginary friend that was forgotten years ago. I'm not a cold person, I bawled my eyes out a lot in Wall-E, that one scene in Trolls, and through most of Up.
.. but this was just a huge disappointment and not what I wanted it to be.
