I"m not a big fan of animated movies, but wow, this one gets you emotionally. Much of the movie reminds me of the early scenes in UP, when they look back on the old couple's life. That REALLY got me.
This movie has it's share of zany fun, but there's plenty of heart-wrenching moments - I could feel the waterworks flowing around me in the theater. It definitely makes you "pay" a bit fore the emotional payoff toward the end.
It drew me in so much that I was a little shocked when the credits rolled. That's it? It's over? Sign of a good movie, for sure.
