Review of Inside Man (2006) by Tilldog T — 14 Jan 2010
Those who thought Spike Lee's Inside Man would be just another heist/hostage thriller by this smarter and better than average thriller. It's also a very entertaining and enjoyable one, touching on racial issues while not straying away from the tension, of which there is plenty.
Inside Man boasts some great performances, particularly by Denzel Washington and Clive Owen, who's chillingly effective as the ringleader. There are a few plot holes around the place, but the excellent twists and revelations more than make up for it.
