Review of Inside Llewyn Davis (2013) by Chloe M — 25 May 2014
On the surface it's a movie about a cranky folk singer who wanders around aimlessly. In actuality it's one of the best examples of what it means to be an artist I've ever seen. It has the wacky characters you'd expect from a Coen brother's film but the humor is more understated and a bit sad.
The unconventional ending is brilliant and not at all gimmicky like No Country For Old Men. I've seen several movies since but this is still the one that is on my mind.
