Review of Inside Llewyn Davis (2013) by Ted N — 14 Aug 2014
Atmospheric evocation of the early 60s folk scene in New York, told through the struggles of a man for whom the world is not waiting, and you can't blame it one little bit. Cinematography is wonderful; storyline (featuring an elusive escaped cat and a mysterious violent man in a back alley) seems to be trying to tell us something but failing, and despite all the effort lavished upon it one does wonder why they bothered.
Memorable, though.
