Review of Inside Job (2010) by Rx F — 29 May 2011
One of the most thorough and thought provoking documentaries I have seen in a long, long time. It covers material that has been looked at quite a bit over the past couple of years ie, the causes of the recent financial crisis, but looks at things from a fresh and insightful perspective.
Most important of all is its examination of academic economists and the issue of conflicts of interest with regard to their external non-teaching activities and the impact on public policy making. This is the first time I have heard this issue examined and discussed.
Well worth watching!
