I usually like Lynch's work but this movie is a confusing mess. Much of it seems to be film student experimentation rather than professional cinematography: a lot of disjointed, surreal imagery linked together by a number of rough, disconnected plots, only one of which (the story of the actress falling for her co-star) seemed to make any kind of sense.
Change the date, please Facebook...this movie was released in 2006, not 1997.
