Review of Inland Empire (2006) by Andrew B — 20 Mar 2016
Whether you think the man is a genius or a madman (or a little of both, like myself), just keep in mind that it's a 3-hour-long David Lynch film.
That said, if you can pallet his style, this is one immense dose of Lynch in an almost unprecedentedly engaging manner. Definitely not devoid of the usual confusion and insanity, but it's so brimming with mystery, horror, suspense, and intrigue that it's hard to look away. It may be Mr. Lynch's most atmospheric film, and that's saying a LOT.
