Review of Inland Empire (2006) by Nic B — 09 Dec 2009
Laura Dern does her ABSOLUTE best to carry this three hour odyssey, but the twisting non-linear narrative confounded and alienated more than engrossed me while I was watching it. As with all Lynch films, certain scenes make the whole, and while Inland Empire is padded with surrealist nonsense, it does have some fantastic moments.
