Well ... As a David Lynch film, you can expect something ... different.
And this movie is different and is also not understandable.
It is true that Mulholland Drive is also very difficult to understand and even then I consider it a great movie.
But Inland Empire, in my opinion, is very confusing, incoherent and boring in some parts.
