Whoa. Sometimes incredibly self-indulgent, sometimes incredibly effective, this movie is an intense trip. One of those movies you can't even try to figure out; you just have to go along for the ride.
At times, completely terrifying: this movie perfectly captures the sensation of a nightmare on-screen. Try not to fall asleep to this movie; you'll probably wake up screaming. Laura Dern deserves major kudos for her fearless work in this.
