Review of Inland Empire (2006) by Jesse V — 11 Aug 2008

Well, that certainly was a weird one! It really messed up my head when I tried to analyze it... it's got so many layers. However, it did make sense on an emotional level, even though I couldn't grasp it rationally.

I guess it's just a movie that you feel instead of following. I was actually a bit surprised about how much I enjoyed it - it's truly a surrealistic work of art. But you'll have to rely on your intuition instead of reason in order to enjoy it.
