Review of Inland Empire (2006) by Tom C — 17 Aug 2009
After viewing this movie twice, I have come slightl closer to understanding and enjoying it, but still there is too much that I don't like about it to make it one of my favourite Lynch works. I jumped out of my skin at the end (most viewers will know the bit I'm talking about) and several earlier scenes were interesting, but the poor, grainy, 480i resolution makes this movie look appalling on average-large sized monitors.
It's a shame really, this movie could have done a great deal better.
