Even my love for the series can't hide the fact that the movie isn't that great. Characters from the series are completely changed to worse characters: Bunta's an abusive drunk, Sudoh's an idiot, and Takumi's emo.
At least Nakazato was still ok. The racing is average at best and doesnt keep you really that entertained. Still it wasnt the worse adaptation ive ever seen.
