Review of Initial D (2005) by Sid A — 10 Mar 2008
Live action adaptation of the Japanese Street Racing manga/anime. Very similar to the first stage of the anime, only a few minor adjustments. The Infernal Affairs team give Initial D a great visual flair, a cool soundtrack.
Jay Chou gets the character down to a T, but Anthony Wong makes the most of this film with a supporting role. Better than Tokyo Drift.
