Review of Initial D (2005) by Anderson L — 26 Mar 2008
Overall, it's a disgrace for the title.
I see the effort in making the stunt and CG, but I don't feel the excitement in racing at all. The acting by Jay Chou was horrible and none of them looked like high schoolers. Though they film it in Japan and tried to act Japanese, the movie felt HK from start to end.
The anime is far more better. I highly recommend the anime version for people who haven't seen Initial D.
