Review of Inherit the Wind (1960) by Patrick E — 09 May 2008
This is one of my all-time favorite movies. Rarely can one see a display of acting such as this. Fredric March and Spencer Tracy are absolutely magnificent. In a rare dramatic role, Gene Kelly also shines.
The titanic battle between faith and reason is given a beautiful treatment in this film. Masterful. Come for the great acting, stay for the intellectual discussion.
