Review of Inherit the Wind (1960) by Zoran S — 15 Oct 2010
Classic "Closed Minded Religion" versus "Open Minded Science" potboiler with a great cast (I particularly enjoyed Gene Kelly as the hard-bitten reporter stirring up the broth!). Cleverly stops just short of ridiculing the fervour of the religious right and shows the liberal-minded humanists pitying their foam-mouthed ranting rather than a more direct statement of values.
