Inherent vice? How about Incoherent Vice... this movie is not what it seems. The main character is an anchor who is swept up in waves of corruption that are all connected, for the most part. The ambitious story, multitude of characters, and complex subplots all sit atop what is all essentially a story about flawed people and unrequited love.
Focus would have done this movie some good but some good performances provide enough interest to save it.
