Review of Inherent Vice (2014) by Rob A — 08 Feb 2015
This is a fairly off the wall film as Doc (Joaquin Pheonix) investigates a kidnapping plot brought to him by his ex. The cast of Pheonix, Josh Brolin, Owen Wilson, Reese Witherspoon, Benicio Del Toro etc was quite impressive and their characters were all interesting amongst some others.
It is a film that asks so many questions and leaves so many answers open to your own interpretation which will annoy the masses but that approach served this film very well.
