I was hesitant given the many criticisms that the film was dull, boring, and difficult to follow. However, I found little of that to be true. The humor was perfectly placed, the storylines molded together at a great pace, and the relationship between Josh Brolin's and Joaquin Phoenix's characters was phenomenal.
