Review of Inherent Vice (2014) by Joe I — 29 Jun 2015

Warning: I have not read the book. I have a feeling that by doing so my rating would either go down or go up. That is the problem with all adaptations. The feelings attached to the medium which comes from that being adapted will affect the overall feelings toward the adaptation.

This movie was still enjoyable. Paul Thomas Anderson still proves he is one of the best we got in Hollywood with a still amazing track record. The cast has a ball and the balance between the narration, the dialogue and the visuals brings what I believe the feel of the book.
