Now I'm all for crazy/weird/you gotta think about it type of movies, but dang Inherent Vice just doesn't make any dang sense and I had to watch it for 2 1/2 hours? Come on! Every time I thought the movie was going someplace interesting it was like, uh nope and just started down another line of thinking.
The reason I gave it a star is the acting is pretty solid, but man the whole movie is as stoned as it's main characters.
