Review of Inherent Vice (2014) by Thomas Hohl H — 10 Aug 2015
Soooo...this was a script based on a Pynchon novel?
But when you where making it, or writing the script, should you have not noticed that it is, I mean you shot a movie that's:
60% Big Lebowski(I mean really!), 20% Fear and Loathing(getting there), 20% American hustle(at least) so...
How many parts of my brain need to be removed before I can finally enjoy another script coming from Hollywood in the next 10 years that promises originailty but delivers nothing and is not as boring and short sighted as this?
Oh well.
About time they made a reboot of Pulp fiction I guess.
But Joaquine Phoenix is great.
