PT Anderson is the best filmmaker not named Scorcese, if you don't know who he is then you are really sleeping on great films like "There Will Be Blood" and "Boogie Nights", this movie is pretty much a trip on LSD, there are little weird things that go on throughout mixed in with the plot which is weird on its own.

There is really great scenes throughout but the overall plot starts interesting but kind of loses its allure as you go, you just watch for the weirdness of the whole thing and the acting and the nonsense is what holds your interest.

It isn't really like anything else in that aspect. I think this is one where the second time I watch it I will enjoy it more.
