Inglourious Basterds is my favorite Tarantino film and one of my favorite films of all time. The acting is delicious on all accounts. Christoph Waltz makes your skin crawl with each slimy syllable, Brad Pitt masters the task of being a menacing Nazi hunter and the films comic relief all at the same time.
Melanie Laurent steals her scenes with facial expressions that do all the talking for her. Diane Kruger, Eli Roth, B.J. Novak, Daniel Bruhl and so on give some of their best work towards this spectacular picture.
As much as some other Tarantino works irk me I can admit when something is good and this IS good! Pure classic.
