Review of Infinitely Polar Bear (2014) by Julie G — 14 Jan 2016
If you're after a heartwarmer with gritty realistic honesty. Fantastic soundtrack, performances. Mark Ruffalo perfectly portrays a bipolar dad who's at once infuriatingly self-destructive and a lovable force of nature.
Zoe Saldana and the girls who play his daughters are great too. I also love that the film takes place in the 1970s recession, when I grew up. Very different times indeed.
