Review of Infini (2015) by Delphinus C — 31 Dec 2015
Started out with a decent premise, and I appreciated not being spoon fed all the answers to all my questions, but I soon realised it wasn't doing this by design, it was just bad storytelling.
What it did well was express the destabilization of the characters' sense of self, and built a lot of uneasy tension in some scenes (yet others were laughably weak). It also had a surprisingly decent production quality.
Lots of gross-out gore and psychotic imagery in this one.
A survival movie where I hoped no one would survive.
