Review of Infini (2015) by Marko C — 02 Jan 2016
It's a well made scifi/horror/psychological movie. Some critics mentioned that the dialog is convoluted and makes little sense. This movie gets rid of the narrator and the guide that pops in in the middle of the movie to clear EVERYTHING up for all the characters and viewers.
The movie is trying to portray the psychological inner turmoil the characters are experiencing and it does this from their point of view. You discover what is going on as they discover it. If they can't think straight the movie very elegantly shows this with cuts and dialog that makes you hear and see what they see, and if you pay attention it does makes sense.
It really does this well which makes it very engaging. Me and my friend loved this movie. One of those rare movies where you are engaged all the time but still leaves some things up to interpretation and it all feels natural from the point of view of the characters.
