Strictly an Old Geezers Who Go To The Matinee Alone showing. . .but everyone else isn't missing much. I know, I know, I have friends and relations who disagree with me but they are wrong and I'm right; this is a real stinker.

Dan Brown's books (I refuse to call them 'novels') are gawdawful and Ron Howard kept the worst ideas in this frantic, incomprehensible, travel guide. The movie stats off with Prof. Langdon having a headache and about 90 seconds in so did I.

The basic plot is a deranged billionaire invents a virus to destroy civilization as we know it (why?) and only Langdon can stop him. Langdon is a 'symbologist' which means, it seems, that he knows every secret door and passage way in every building in the world.

I got lost in the plot twists, most of which make no sense, and was really glad when the overly complicated climax finally came. If you like or even tolerated the first two of these idiotic movies you might enjoy this one.

But if you want anything to make sense you should pass and go to Medea instead.
