I rate this high for one reason only..it was the best performance I have ever seen by Sandra Bullock. I had to scrutinize the credit list because I couldn't believe she could turn it out like that.
.for once I watched her completely in character and not acting. While this actor was more physically in sync than Mr. Hoffman's, Hoffman's performance was far more superior in Capote because it felt real and not like a caricature of Capote, as he is so easy to "imitate".
