While the first half of this film is a poorly constructed, painfully boring muddled mess consisting primarily of incoherent, lazy partying scenes, and marred by moments of atrociously written dialogue, the real success of this film lies in its second half.

After slogging through the worn out and completely generic first act, the audience is finally given what the movie promised; a fairly intriguing and moderately suspenseful creature horror that disappointingly wastes a lot of its potential.

There were several scenes with noticeably respectable camera work and some moments that did have me in the edge of my seat. Yet we as an audience are bereft of any reason to care about the flat and completely unempathetic characters that can come off as more annoying than relatable.

The creature itself is smaller but completely identical to the creature design of the Wedigo from the successful PlayStation game "Until Dawn". That creature is scary, yes, but the complete theft of the design of another film's monster was a disappointing reveal.

The shaky camera work during the climactic scenes was highly distracting and the creature just popped up out of nowhere in several cheap jump scares that took me right out of the moment; most notably during a scene involving a news helicopter at the end.

Sadly this film missed out on its overall potential that shown through at some points, but was inevitably smothered by poor writing and horrible editing that cripples this film from the start.
