Review of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984) by Alec B — 23 Mar 2012
Even though the first one is superior, Temple of Doom is still a very underrated sequel that has, in my opinion, the best scene out of all the Indiana Jones movies. Harrison Ford is still great as Indiana Jones and Spielberg does not disappoint and makes another nail-biting adventure.
The last fourth of this movie is literally non-stop action and it just keeps getting better and better and it finally leads up to my favorite Indiana Jones scene of all time, the bridge scene. The reason for that is because you've just finished watching this whole chase in a mine cart and it was so great and you think nothing can top it.
But then, Indy cuts the ropes of the bridge and swings out alive and it was absolutely terrific. A great sequel.
