Review of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984) by Bradley J — 10 Jul 2012
The action moves from africa to india. After an exciting open sequence, our heros end up in small distressed village, where the people believe that evil spirits have taken all their children away after a sacred precious stone was stolen! The darkest of the series, voodoo dolls, child slave labour and heart extracting, Temple of the doom really goes for the throut.
Still Doom has some of the biggest laughs of the series, and also has the most fun heroine, Kate Capshaw. The iconic indy moments are there, and some of the best set pieces, the Mine cart chase, the draw bridge sequence, these are some of the best of action films in general, the standard that these films have set.
