Review of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989) by Paul P — 01 Jan 2013
The world of Indy is expanded in this episode and its a pretty great one which maintains all of the good qualities of its predecessors.
Moving back towards the more religious storyline that we saw in Raiders, the plot here is pretty simple and solid. Introducing Indy's dad was a fun move and having Connery on board as a sparring partner for Ford was an entertaining choice. There is a larger focus on character this time round which was really welcome and I flat out loved Denholm Elliott in this. He plays Brody just right.
Overall this is another solid entry in the world of Indy and co.....
