It’s really unfortunate that they made all the male characters dumb and inept so that Helena, a self insert for Phoebe Waller Bridge could be the main character. They originally were going to kill off Indie at the end but did reshoots so that now, after Indy gets shot in the chest, he gets decked by Helena and forced home into his bed and he’s magically not dead.

Also time travel in an indie movie isn’t mystical it’s just lazy.
