Review of Independence Day: Resurgence (2016) by Darian T — 03 Oct 2016
My rating: 6/10.
America saves the world yet again, YAY! Seriously, all American war stories are the same, even if set in space. Boring.
--Script/Direction: B.
The dialogue is borderline cringe-worthy.
--Cast/Acting: B.
The acting is borderline cringe-worthy, probably due to the script.
--Production/Effects: A+.
Although films are essentially a visual medium, I don't think you can make a 2-hr film engaging purely on visuals alone. If you could, then this film would probably have scored a 10/10.
Bias/Bonus: 0.
