I love Rolland Emmerich I don't know why this movie was made. Fans wanted this ages ago, not so much now. I feel like the script was written in a day and the new cast wasn't right. I feel I could have written this movie a hundred times better.

The effects were about the only great thing in this movie. I was at least able to sit through it and can't complain since I saw it for free.
