Definitely not as bad as critics want you to think. The action and special effects are spectacular. Sure some of the new characters are forgettable and cliche, but the old cast brings it back up. To be fair, the ending was terrible and just basically told everyone "We're going to space in the next one!" With all of that said, it is a destructive movie so just turn off your brain and have fun.
