ID:R is an odd movie.

It's **VERY** entertaining.. if you're a fan of the first film.

But it's **NOT** a good movie in any way, shape or form.

I sincerely enjoyed getting reacquainted with many of the characters from the first movie and meeting the new ones here. But there are so many plot holes and times when the story just loses the audience from the sheer heft of itself.

Most of the SPFX are excellent although sometimes it feels like you're watching a bad Transformers knock off.

I'm rating it 4* simply for the entertainment value.

If you go in knowing that nothing can be better than the original then you won't be disappointed. It is good fun even with a very weak story.
