Review of Incredibles 2 (2018) by Trent H — 14 Jun 2018
It's the love story between fan and writer. The Incredibles 2 is a must see for anyone who loves this franchise. I loved the character development, the action, the effects, and overall enjoyed the spectacle before me.
Though, I did feel like some parts dragged a bit, the obviousness of Screen Slaver's motives and who they were was apparent the moment they are introduced (though I imagine the reveal was for the kids), and the backstory of Screen Slaver kind of felt questionable. If the roles were reversed with their father figure, and the villain was trying to make that call, it could've made the motive make a little more sense and fit with their speeches.
But it is what it is, and you know what, it didn't really bother me all that much by the end of it. The ending made me crave for a third film. But I'll be a good fan, watch this movie to death, and then look forward to the next big film.
So if you have 2 hours, consider spending it watching this.
