Review of Incredibles 2 (2018) by Rod M — 25 Aug 2018
Very by the numbers and predictable sequel, I am sorry to report. The plot is obvious from about 5 minutes in - the role reversal of hapless stay at home that we've seen a million times, the super rich sponsor who turns out to be (with a small twist) the bad guy, the boring and requisite subplots for the rest of the family.
Visually, it is terrific as usual - plot and storywise, very uninspired and verging on boring and like all Pixar movies, way too long, and not helped by the pointless short we are forced to endure at the beginning.
Only just watchable.
