Review of Incredibles 2 (2018) by Riley M — 27 Jul 2018
This movie is a cash grab, mostly. The animation, of course, is lovely and the script is fairly good but lacks in some parts, such as relying on the baby for a lot of humour. The plot at some points makes no sense and Jack-Jack is the worst character in the film.
Most of the time I found myself rolling my eyes at the forced humour from the baby, and also from the father trying to bond with the children. This film would have been much better if they had carried on from the previous story but later on, then the characters would have matured and would have had more interesting stories, but then Disney would have had to design more new characters and the lack of effort put into this film was no more exemplified than in this aspect of the film and characters.
Overall very unhappy with the lack of effort and forced humour in the film.
