Review of Inception (2010) by Arend R — 23 Dec 2014
What's great about the film is that it manages to be both entertaining as well as give plenty of room for interpretation. The main character's journey is enough to create it's own message, though there will always be that space behind the lines of the film that will allow it's audiences to create their own ideas on what the film's alternative meaning is.
The film itself is a representation of other movies, how films can create an idea and place it into the audiences minds. It's a film that, despite not being as good as the Prestige, is a brilliant blend of science fiction, film noir, espionage/ spy thriller, and puzzle games.
